About Allison Crawford
Allison Crawford, L.Ac., FABORM, is a graduate of UCLA and the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine School, Berkeley. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Medicine (FABORM), having passed a rigorous 6 hour exam in the field of reproductive health. She has practiced in San Francisco since 2003.
Allison practices a Japanese style insertion method which features gentle insertion. Allison’s specialties include women’s health (fertility, pre/postnatal care, PMS, menopause, etc.), the treatment of pain, utilizing Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method (also known as distal needling), and allergies. She is very knowledgeable in the combination of Western and Eastern methodologies, such as combining IVF with acupuncture. Her warmth and knowledge provide a comfortable, relaxed, and results-oriented visit.
