About Jonah Larkin MS, LAc., CFMP

My Philosophy

My approach is not based on pat rules but instead on sound scientific principles, advanced lab testing and thousands of hours of clinical experience.  I am a firm believer in the innate intelligence and healing capacity of the human body.  I have seen too many people heal from illness and injury that once seemed hopeless to believe anything different.  The most important thing is to get out of our own way and let the body do its job.

How I work

With all the confusing health advice out there it can be difficult to know what to do.   I use the most advanced laboratory testing available to find opportunities for healing and optimization.   Our testing measures the levels of important hormones, metabolites and other biomarkers.  We also test for key genotypes that have a profound implication on your health.

Instead of getting generic prescriptions, each optimization and treatment plan is completely customized to you.  While conventional medical practices focuses on individual biomarkers that may be out of range, our practice is focused on the functioning of the major body systems as a whole.

I have worked with people from all walks of life from professional athletes to weekend warriors.

My Personal Journey

While I have been immensely healthy most of my life I ran into some seemingly unsolvable health problems in my twenties and thirties.  It was through dedication to my own health and discovering the power of Functional Medicine that I was finally able to heal.

As an athlete I strive to perform at the highest levels I can.  I surf, practice martial arts, ski, bike, run and am currently learning parkour.
